Our Approach: A Partnership Built on Trust

At Clarity Equine, we believe that the most rewarding equine experiences come from a foundation of mutual respect. Whether we are starting a young colt, guiding a child through their first lesson, or partnering with a horse for mental health therapy, our focus is on clear communication. When the horse and human truly understand one another, progress follows naturally.

Our Philosophy

Clarity Equine is built on connection, safety, and trust. We take a trauma-informed, relationship-first approach to learning with horses, meeting each individual where they are and supporting growth at a pace that feels steady and respectful. Through clear communication, thoughtful progression, and care for both horse and human, we create space for confidence, understanding, and meaningful connection to develop.

Mission Statement

Our mission at Clarity Equine is to create a safe, supportive environment where people and horses learn together through trust, connection, and clear communication. We provide trauma-informed, professional equine experiences that build confidence, understanding, and meaningful growth—at a pace that respects both horse and human.

Our Core Values

  • Safety First We prioritize both physical and emotional safety. By following Equestrian Canada standards and trauma-informed practices, we ensure a secure environment where horse and human can thrive.

  • Connection Before Performance We believe the relationship is the foundation of all success. Whether in a Western lesson or a therapy session, we value the bond over the "perfect" maneuver.

  • Respect for the Horse The horse is a partner, not a tool. We advocate for the well-being and "voice" of the horse, ensuring every interaction is rooted in empathy and ethical horsemanship.Patience in Progress True growth cannot be rushed. We move at the speed of the horse and the comfort of the human, allowing for a clear, quiet, and sustainable path forward.

  • Clear Communication We strive to strip away the "noise." By teaching humans to listen and horses to trust, we build a language of clarity that eliminates pressure and fosters understanding.

  • Lifelong Learning We are committed to being perpetual students of the horse. By staying current with modern, science-based practices, we offer our clients the most ethical and effective support possible.

My Journey & Promise

I’ve been around horses since I was nine, but the most important thing I’ve learned isn't how to ride—it’s how to listen. I know how it feels when communication breaks down; that’s why I started Clarity Equine at Double M Farms.

Why I Do This Differently

Horse-First Philosophy: When a horse feels safe and heard, the human finds their confidence, too. Safety & Standards: As an Equestrian Canada certified coach, I prioritize professional standards to ensure you and your horse are physically and emotionally secure.

Partnership Over Pressure: Whether starting a colt or facilitating therapy with In Good Time Wellness Collective, my goal is to help you find a clear, quiet path forward.

The barn should be a
place where you can breathe, learn, and grow.

The Foundation of My Work

My approach is built on safety, professional standards, and a "horse-first" philosophy.

  • Licensed Coach: Professional safety and technical standards through Equestrian Canada.

  • Equine Specialist: Facilitating wellness sessions with In Good Time Wellness Collective.

  • Trauma-Informed: Creating a low-stress, secure environment for horse and human.

  • Lifelong Learner: I stay a student of the horse to bring the most ethical, modern practices to my clients and the herd.
